The book “The Kitchen God’s Wife” written by Amy Tan, is about the Chinese’s immigration to the USA and the confrontation of two generations of Chinese women with their third generation in the US. In 1999, this book cover, ordered by Mrs. Shahla Lahiji for Roshangaran Publications and Women Studies Center, was designed.
